Large cryptocurrencies experienced mixed performance during morning trading on Wednesday. Notably, Ripple XRPUSD saw the biggest increase, rising by 3.33% to reach 66 cents.
Meanwhile, Bitcoin BTCUSD led the declines with a 0.40% drop, bringing its price to $29,862.40.
Among the other cryptocurrencies, five saw price increases. Dogecoin DOGEUSD rallied by 1.27% to 8 cents, while Solana SOLUSD rose by 0.90% to $24.70.
Polygon MATICUSD also saw a modest gain of 0.46%, reaching 69 cents, and Uniswap UNIUSD climbed by 0.39% to $6.13.
Polkadot DOTUSD experienced the smallest increase, rising by 0.20% to $5.07.
However, two major currencies posted decreases. Ethereum ETHUSD slipped by 0.21% and was valued at $1,859.50, while Cardano ADAUSD inched down by 0.07% to reach 30 cents.
In terms of crypto-related company news, Coinbase Global Inc. COIN shares slipped by 0.02% to $88.02, while MicroStrategy Inc. MSTR saw a 0.50% increase, bringing its share price to $391.44. On the other hand, Riot Blockchain Inc. RIOT shares sank by 0.56% to $17.00, and Marathon Digital Holdings Inc. MARA rose by 2.70% to $16.15.
Share prices of Overstock.com Inc. OSTK decreased by 0.86%, reaching $32.22, while Block Inc. SQ experienced a rally of 2.66%, reaching $64.04. Tesla Inc. TSLA’s share price fell by 1.16% to $246.80.
Other notable companies in the cryptocurrency space also saw some movement. PayPal Holdings Inc. PYPL slipped by 0.70% to $62.75, and Ebang International Holdings Inc. EBON shares inched down by 0.87% to $8.38. NVIDIA Corp. NVDA shed 2.76%, falling to $434.30, and Advanced Micro Devices Inc. AMD declined by 1.77%, reaching $111.22.
In the fund space, the blockchain-focused Amplify Transformational Data Sharing ETF BLOK slid by 0.18%, ending up at $24.30. The Bitwise Crypto Industry Innovators ETF BITQ, which focuses on pure-play crypto companies, slipped by 0.22% to reach $9.06. On the other hand, Grayscale Bitcoin Trust GBTC, which tracks the Bitcoin market price, climbed by 0.40% to $20.17.
